Boreal Biome Set features preserved specimens, carefully selected to demonstrate various ecological niches and interrelationships. Set consists of 24 individually labeled jars containing animals, plants, fungi, monerans and protists. All specimens are carefully preserved in our formaldehyde-free Borealene II solution, ensuring realistic and lasting preservation. Set also includes a comprehensive study guide with teacher suggestions, an ecological and phylogenic classification chart, a biome map and a list of suggested activities. Additional study guides are available separately. Substitutions may be made when necessary.
