Product Information
All the Features you Need for Your Lab, At Hundreds of Dollars Less!Teachers helped us design this precise, high-quality instrument, which gives you all the features you want at hundreds of dollars less than competitors' models.
The Science Kit Spectrophotometer is a single-beam unit with a wavelength range of 340 nm to 900 nm. Absorbance and transmittance readings can be taken simultaneously to save time. The unique filter wheel allows you to operate through the full wavelength range without opening the machine.
The color wheel window on the front panel displays UV to infrared light levels, so students see the relationship between digital display and the corresponding position on the color spectrum. The unit reduces stray radiant energy to less than 0.5%T.
You can use your own test tubes or cuvettes for sample analysis and still receive readability of approximately 0.1%T. Instructions are printed on the front panel for &"fool-proof&" start up and operation. There is a scaled spectrum reference on the front panel and a source on/off light switch for luminescent sample readings.
The Replacement Cuvette is available to our U.S. customers only.
Includes: Spectroscopy Manual, 1.8 cm adapter, dust cover, hex wrench, two test tube cuvettes and a calibration test sample.
