The Tide Clock cleverly runs on a 25 hour and 50 minute day - the moon's day cycle and since it is the moon that influences the tides, what could make more sense?
While your standard clock hands mark off hour, minute and second, the tide clock uses a blue "tide hand" to point out high, low and half tides.
