Demonstrate the movement of the Earth around the Sun and the Moon around the Earth with this electrically-driven illuminated planetarium. Designed to stand up to student wear, this rugged apparatus features a fiberglass base. In addition, all gears, bushings and pinions have been carefully machined and finished. You can control the motor and light with separate switches, and the drive arm can be easily moved for conversion to hand operation. The Sun and Earth are 15 cm and 8 cm in diameter, respectively, and the model arm is 42 cm long. Includes manually operated Venus model, power cord, and instruction book. Unit operates on 120 VAC.
