Simply focus this high-quality video camera on any subject or use it with a microscope using the included adapters to let your whole class view fragile objects and microscopic images. The camera is compatible with NTSC and PAL systems, so you can send the high-resolution image (370 TV lines horizontal x 400 TV lines vertical) to a television, computer monitor, VCR or a digitizer board. You can even use the camera with binocular stereomicroscopes. The 8mm C-mount lens is fixed on the end of a 45 cm long flexible gooseneck wand and can be focused from infinity down to 1.25 cm to provide 50X magnification. In addition, the camera has an electronic iris and can operate in light as low as 1.5 Lux. Internal stereo microphones allow you to narrate lectures or let students hear sounds from insects and other biological specimens. This unit is UL listed and operates on 120 VAC. Includes hardware for hookup to TV and VCR, 1.5 m cable for hookup to output unit, a 6 m extension cable, and three microscope adapters.
