Product Information

Ideal for educational labs, this rugged and compact hotplate heats up to 1000 mL of liquid. Its durable cast aluminum top plate provides an even heating surface and a bi-metallic thermostat offers reliable temperature control. Using a powerful heater, the hot plate reaches maximum temperature in only minutes. Additionally, a built-in support rod holder with locking knob accepts a support rod for added convenience.

    We have had several problems with these hot plates. First the knobs keep coming off and are often lost by students. Second, we purchased 20 hot plates and 2 quit working within the first coulple of uses. 2 others have since quit working. I would not recommend these!
