Microprocessor control regulates the heating and spinng function, so samples are heated to temperature quickly and accurately while speed is precisely controlled. The one piece ceramic top plate design features a chemical resistant, reflective white surface that is easy to clean, and the rear housing features a built-in support rod holder with locking knob. Made of a heat resistant polymer, the housing is also resistant to corrosion and offers a spill resistant, low profile design. The unit’s ramping feature slowly increases speed for improved safety and enhanced coupling; this avoids splashing, improves spin bar control, and provides excellent low speed control. Additionally, stir protection automatically shuts down heater if stirrer motor fails and a caution hot top indicator features a warning symbol light that illuminates when the top plate reaches 40°C and remains lit until unit cools down.

Units include a 92″ detachable, 3-wire cord, and a two year limited warranty on parts and labor.
