As they study osmosis, diffusion and water potential of cells, your students will measure diffusion of molecules through a selectively permeable membrane.
Other activities include an investigation of the relationship between solute concentration and water movement through a selectively permeable membrane, and a look at the water potential of potato cells when placed in various sugar solutions.
